https://www.patreon.com/SableAradia?ty=h" target="_blank">I've started a Patreon campaign!
For those out there in social media land who may not know, Patreon is kind of like an ongoing Kickstarter program. People can help to fund the works of creative people, and in return, Patrons receive special benefits only for them. I think this is the answer to our culture of commercialism, in which it's difficult for creative people to make a living. I am hoping that some of you out there who follow my work may consider making a more direct form of support. Just like in any crowdfunded project, there are perks for bigger contributions but even the smallest contribution is helpful and I offer a few perks to everyone who helps.
Over the next couple of days I will be uploading and linking a bunch of things. I do a lot so my intention is to add something new each day. When I post something new, such as a video, a piece of writing, etc., that will be the "daily item" shared; on the days that I don't have anything like that coming out, I will draw from my back catalog. Some things will be for Patrons only. Please keep checking back to stay updated on all the new and exciting things I have going on! And thanks for your support!

Anderson Lynne Mar was the original lead singer of Gallows Hill, a goth rock band I was in several years ago. These were her lyrics and my interpretation of them in this tribute video. I liked her a lot, respected her immensely and wish I'd known her better. RIP
This is what Vanyaland.com had to say. What a tragedy!

A filk of traditional sea shanty "Santy Anno," Inspired by the Spelljammer(tm) setting for Dungeons & Dragons(tm).
lyrics
So heave ‘er up and away we’ll go,
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
The Rock of Bral is a place I know,
Along the Arcane Inner Flow.
Well the Rock of Bral is a wretched place,
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
Where the locals will kill ye if they hate your face,
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
Ye can find anything ye want and more
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
Including some things ye didn’t bargain for
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
Oh, the slavin’ trade is alive and well
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
A neogi ship is a passage to Hell
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
So heave ‘er up and away we’ll go,
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
The Rock of Bral is a place I know,
Along the Arcane Inner Flow.
There’s plenty o’ gold, so I’ve been told
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
But don’t get lost in the barrios
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
If ye go on in to Luigi’s bar
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
Ye might get drunk but ye won’t get far
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
Well, on the Rock’s where I long to be
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
With a cask of rum on a drinkin’ spree
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
So heave ‘er up and away we’ll go,
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
The Rock of Bral is a place I know,
Along the Arcane Inner Flow.
Well them elven lads I do adore
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
With their sparklin’ eyes and their silken hair
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
When I was a young lass in me prime
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
I’d have those Navy boys two at a time
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
But I’d never leave the stars to settle down
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
When I can have a lad in every town
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
So heave ‘er up and away we’ll go,
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
The Rock of Bral is a place I go,
Along the Arcane Inner Flow.
Well the times is hard and the wages low
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
But we starhands must all roll and go
Along the Arcane Inner Flow
So heave ‘er up and away we’ll go,
Aweigh, Rock of Bral now,
The Rock of Bral is a place I know,
Along the Arcane Inner Flow.

http://sablearadia.bandcamp.com/album/summerfest-live-recordings-from-the-2013-event-season
*Bandcamp Exclusive!* 20 live tracks recorded between the Spring and Fall Equinox 2013. Features 3 bonus tracks ("Feelin' Groovy (The 59th Street Bridge Song," "The Mariner's Revenge," and "Fields of Athenry"); unique recordings, photos from Sable's summer events, and bonus Smartphone video "Dance the Magic Round" (Beltaine Faire, Edmonton, AB, April 27, 2013.)
I travel all over Western Canada during the summer event season, and this year, music was my focus. All of these 20 tracks were recorded between the Spring and the Fall Equinox in 2013. They are not professional recordings. There's a lot of ambient background noise of the various festivals I attended and all my mistakes are included. So why do you want to buy this album?
1. There's 20 tracks, all at the price of a normal-length album.
2. They capture the spirit and magic of the events I attended. If you were there, or wish you were, it's a good way to carry that spirit with you.
3. Often things have more passion live than they do when recorded more professionally.
4. You will get unique tracks from my various live performances that are not available anywhere else, and never will be.
5. You will get unique, live versions of some of these tracks that highlight the talents of friends and guest performers. You won't find them on another album either.
Sometimes, I had to choose between two, three, or even four different live versions of the same song. I selected them based on the number of mistakes I made and how noticeable they were; how distracting the background noise was; whether I felt it best highlighted the song overall. whether you could hear the vocals; and whether it was more or less enjoyable than one or another version to listen to; and how interesting the performance was.
Sometimes, you can't hear the vocals very well, or there is a quite noticeable mistake. That's because there simply was no other version of that particular track, and I wanted to offer as much variety as possible.
This album, for obvious reasons, is exclusive to Bandcamp and only available in digital format. I hope you enjoy this intimate glimpse into my life over the summer of 2013.
Blessed be,
Sable
